I'm from Los Angeles and have lived in Southern California my whole life...You can't really grow up in this state without being subjected to the avocado culture. It's everywhere and feels natural to just embrace it.
Sunshine, health food, vitamins, outdoor a,ctivities, no smoking, being attached to our cars and driving everywhere, shunning public transit, buying trendy clothes in fancy malls, using Valley speak, dining outside, wearing flip flops in December.....There's more but these are just a few off the top of my head.
