Val walks in Brandon's room in just her underwear & asks Brandon if he can see the make-up she spilled on her dress.

When Brandon makes a comment about "the scenery" Val remarks- "Oh sorry. I thought we were like family."

Sorry Val, I know you were trying to hit on Brandon but that line is just ridiculous to me. I doubt Brenda ever walked around in her underwear in front of her brother. I have a brother & would NEVER walk into his room in just my underwear like that.

At first I thought that was a joke but now I think it's an interesting thought. Being sexually abused by her father, Val probably didn't know what was usually appropriate among families.
