Other than her stint working at the Peach Pit and briefly working for Jimbo, Brenda was kind of a deadbeat contrasted with her brother. Figured she would get a job to keep up with her rich friends....

Yeah, she definitely didn't have the work ethic Brandon had.
Just always assumed that Brandon worked to have a car. But Brenda didn't want one, since her boyfriend, brother and friends drove her around.

Some people are just late bloomers when it comes to working. It doesn't make them deadbeats. Not everyone can be a wonder boy like Brandon. BTW Brenda did work in that clothing store her junior year of high school.
