Is there any way that Kelly would have liked Valerie,no matter how hard she tried?
I just feel like Kelly had her mind set not to really accept her as a friend, no matter what.
Even though Miss Goody Two Shoes wants to act so secure, she had to be threatened by Val. It is all that makes sense.
Depends but I think after the drama and jealousy of Brenda, Kelly always wanted to be top dog (without competition?).
That said, popular opinion is that Kelly is the bad guy. But Val was fake from the start and pretended to be nice, all the while insulting everyone from Day 1 - even the Walshes and Steve who were good to her. Then she wanted to be friends but continued to backstab people.
I do not see it as Kelly = bad/Val = better. One might be more likeable than another to some, but that has no bearing on what actually happened in 5x01.
Maybe Kelly could tell Valerie was a phony. And she probably hated that a beautiful girl was living under the same roof as a boyfriend. Even if they were like family.
shareKelly never gave Val a chance from the beginning and it's complete jealousy. I hated that they made Val so evil though because I didn't want Kelly to be right. I love strong cool smart Val. I didn't like some of her down right evil storylines.
shareI've never liked the Valerie character, but there is one time that I did feel bad for her. There was this dance and she talked Collin in to going to be there for Kelly. So Valerie and Collin walk in arm in arm(I know it looked bad, but that wasn't Valerie's intentions) and Valerie said hi to Kelly. She was being sincere and Kelly called her a bitch. I felt so bad for her because like I said, she talked Collin in to going to be there for Kelly. Collin later explained that to Kelly.
shareThe crazy thing was Jennie treated Tiffani very cold when she first came onto the show. Jennie later apologized and vowed to never treat her that way again. They became best friends after that. Tiffani was a bridesmaid in Jennie's wedding to Peter Facinelli, and Jennie introduced Tiff to her current husband Brady Smith. They later had a falling out, and haven't talked in over 10 some years. Crazy how that turned out.
