The Fifth Estate: Feature on 90210

Interesting 11-minute feature:

Interviewing Jason Priestley about his stardom, behind the scenes, Aaron Spelling, talking to huge fans of the show, and even asking teens from the REAL Beverly Hills High what they think!

I recently read his autobiography and he wrote that on his last day of 90210 he finished his final scene and that was it. No party. No goodbye. Just finished his scene and drove off. I think he felt a little bitter about it. I would too! I think he deserved a little bit more of a goodbye...

I'll have to give that a read (I'm surprised I haven't yet)!

I had no idea Jason used to b a smoker

Brandon would NEVER smoke a cigarette on the show lol

reply

Yeah he was a big smoker. He was also a party boy. Much different from Brandon!

Jennie Garth said on the Arsenio Hall Show that Jason loved to party. Not the way Shannen did, but he could party. Something close to this, she said in 1991.

Jason came to LA from Canada and had a pretty humble start. He lived in a small apartment in the valley with a couple of his friends. At one point he lived with Brad Pitt right before he hit it big with Thelma and Louise...he was also best friends with the actor who ended up playing John Sears. They must have had fun in the early days.
