Me and my girl friend just watched Uncle Buck and we loved it! We were thinking, considering they always remake movies these days, if they were to remake this who would they cast? We thought for ages about who could play Tia and who could play Buck. We landed on Vince Vaughn for Buck and Jennifer Lawrence for Tia. Thoughts?
shareSorry but I just cannot picture any actor filling John Candy's shoes as Buck. He had the role suited perfectly.
His larger than life persona, sense of humour and general acting we're spot on.
For those reasons, I really hope this classic is NOT ever remade.
It is definitely time for an Uncle Buck remake! Kevin James would make the funniest Buck for the reboot.
