German Sheperd vs. French Mastiff
If Tom Hanks teamed up with a German Sheperd this movie would be better than K-9. I love German Sheperds. What do you think? Was it the dog who made it better or was it Tom Hanks vs. Jim Belushi?
shareI disagree! Having a German Shepherd would have probably made Turners life a LOT easier. They don't drool excessively, are very quick to catch on to the rules and like to adhere to them. Overall they look a lot more 'clean' too. Don't get me wrong though, I love GSD's too but I liked the challenge Turner had with Hooch. Turner being so house proud and tidy. Hooch was a dog who had never had any real obedience training by the looks of it. He was loud, drooled excessively and took a fair while to get to know what was acceptable and so on. Without this a lot fo the comedy could have been lost, and it was this pairs initially huge differences that brought them together so nicely in the end!
