about hooch...
wasn't beasley(hooch) a great actor in this film? sadly he hasn't appeared in any other films than this one, and if some director would want him for a movie he's most likely not alive anymore:(.

shareHe's a cutie.....a Dogue de Bordeaux, aka French Mastiff.
I would say Beasley (Hooch) presented the BEST DOG PERFORMANCE in a film to date.
Don't forget Lassie & Beethoven are in this category too..
Hooch was just magnificent..
And the drowl which looked like shoelaces was icky but very very hallarious, especially when it dropped in Turners car as he's talking to him.
A quote which I though was comedic (apart from the shouting outside the house in the middle of the night) was,
"Well we've known each other for a while now, and I think it's safe to ask you, but ARE YOU AWARE OF YOUR DROWLING PROBLEM?"
Boy I laughed.

shareit wasnt just one dog who played hooch.
do they only mention beasley in the credits?
Yeah it is only Beasley mentioned in the credits. He died in 1992.
This movie is on TV just now, it's at the scene where he's dying =( and Scott is crying. I haven't seen it for years. It was one of my childhood faves =)

BURNING BRIDGES DAY! Dec. 4th!
In the Credits it says : Hooch Owned and trained by... ( Owner's name ) but I didn't see the name Beasley.
"It's just a Movie..."
Hooch was a fabulous dog! He had the most expressive eyes. I don't know how could anyone could watch this movie and not want a dog just like Hooch by the time it's over.
