How rough were they with the dog...

during the scene where Tom Hanks first takes Hooch off the property? Cause that seemed fairly rough on the dog, unless they just had some really good editing? At one point where you see the wire around the dogs neck, there's even a little bit of blood...which I am hoping is just makeup effects. Just a curious question. I know they aren't allowed to harm animals during movies, but damn they seemed rough on that dog.

The dog was wagging its tail the entire time so it was having fun.

The blood was makeup. Ita still there in the next scene where the vet comments on it plus they weren't doing anything rough enough to break the dogs skin anyways.

Those "wires" are what animal control uses. They don't hurt the dog.

The blood on the dog is most likely meant to be from when he jumped through a closed window.

Are you *beep* kidding? Of course it was makeup.
