Anyone catch the BHC reference? when the two detectives walk up to Turner at the dock, He calls them Foster and McCabe, the two officers in beverly hills cop assigned to follow axel foley after rosewood and taggart

One of the writers was Daniel Petrie, Jr. who also wrote BHC.

I noticed this too and was about to add it to the trivia section when I came across your post. In both movies, interestingly, Foster and McCabe were a source of irritation for the protagonists. I wonder if the writer used those names to work through personal issues that he had with real people with those names.
