Anybody know when Hooch died in real life?
I am assuming he could not possibly still be alive now. He'd be rearing in on 30. The oldest I've seen a dog get is our last one who made it past 18.
But 28? Not happening, especially for a bigger breed.

He was used for breeding and has a small family living in Conlig, Northern Ireland. His sister also. The same family own all the pups.
shareSadly 1992 he was born in 78 so he was old for a dog in the film.
shareHis name was Beasley and he died in 1992.
shareWatching it now on POP (TW175), sad that he died just 3 years after the film was released.
