How can there not be any messages for this movie??

Ok...what gives here? We are talking about one of my favorite movies here and there isn't even a board to discuss it with other Troop fanatics!

So let me start! Wow....I love this movie! I really do....it reminds me of when I was young. I remember always watching this on my birthday, each and every year. I love to watch it now, in all its cheesy glory and see how so many of those girls have gone on to bigger and better things.

My favorite part? Let's see...it has to be when they are singing and trying to sell the cookies.

Ok, anyone else want to join in on this very stimulating conversation?

I don't understand either why nobody has written. I thought this movie was hilarious! It's so funny to picture rich Beverly Hills children "roughing it" in a Beverly Hills Hotel. But man, wouldn't we all love a life like that huh?

My favorite part in the movie is when they hear something and one of the girls asks Phyllis what the noise was and she replies "Just one of nature's beasts." Then you hear Velda yelling and Phyllis just says, "Yep. It's a beast all right. Move out." FUNNY!

Great movie! It really seems like Shelley Long belongs in that high society, fashion conscious world.

This is one of my favorite movies. I always reminds me of when I'd be traveling
places with my girl scout troop and we'd always watch this movie on the bus.
Great 80s fun!!

It's a rented tux. Okay? I'm not gonna go commando in another man's fatigues!- Joey[Friends]

My Favorite part is when Velda walks by the one girl that is under cover and calls her a tramp and then says "the next place you'll be working is kmart" and then the undercover girl says "screw you velda" I liked this movie it was a lot of laughs

I have just bought this film on DVDand I think it is absolutely brilliant, whacky and hilarious. We not only see Shelley Long sing but dance as well which was a real bonus. You see traces of Diane Chambers (CHEERS) and Lucy from Irreconcilable Differences in Phyliss character. The young girls playing the troop members were great and the street side disco when they we selling cookies was soo good, and all those lovely tunes Wimoweh, Kumbaya, Memories and several others went in to making an excellent film and with all the effort the cast put it the result was excellent. Right now back to looking at Troops Beverly Hills for the 5th time.

now this movie is a basic slice of '80's camp. those kids are so cute and snaps to Shelley Long for her big hair, her big outfits, and just to see a bunch of classic stars (my personal favorite, of course is Edd "Kookie" Byrnes). in fact someone told me it's gonna be on sometime next week on TBS. I'm still waiting for the DVD, but a deuce says that it's gonna end up in the Wal-Mart bargain bin very soon.

I *LOVE* this movie. My sister and I loved it since we were little tykes! I agree there should be a website or some shrine dedicated to this underrated gem on the net somewhere. I love it to bits. Cookie time dance off is the best scene, but I love the end hike scene the best.
Fantastic flick.

Mary Gross has never been scarier.

Troop Beverly Hills is a Classic! It came out when I was 7 years old. My parents bought it for me when it went to video. Boy, did they regret that. I used to watch it every day. After about 2 years of watching it repetitively it just disappeared. My parents never did admit to getting rid of it.
I still love this movie today. It's one of my all time favorites. It bring backs so many childhood memories. In fact I'm watching it right now! Can you believe how many of the girls from the movie grew up to be famous and very successful?!!

I know! Kellie Martin (emily) has been on E.R. and Christy - and Carla Gugino (Chica) is a fantastic actor. Loved her in the Spy Kids movies and Snake Eyes, Karen Sisco and The Singing Detective.

Jenny Lewis (Hannah) was also in 'The Wizard' - one of my fave kid movies, although a Nintendo marketing ploy.

And who can forget Kellie Martin in life goes on?!! I used to love that show. Also Tori spelling (Cleo's best friend). She's definately done well for herself! 90210 was AWESOME! Jenny Lewis has also done some really good made for t.v. movies that show on Lifetime. You should check them out if happen to notice them.

And Jenny Lewis sings in the band Rilo Kiley...in the song "The Frug," she says something about doing The Freddy. Haha!

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that, I'll be over here, looking through your stuff.

I really loved this movie as well. I watched it with my friend and I thought it was soo funny and cute! My favorite part is the "excuse me officer, don't you know who this man is" scene. When I was younger my best friend and I memorized it ad used to say it all the time! haha.

But yeah, anyway, it was really a fun movie to watch! Why such a low rating! It was fabulous for what it was.
