M'Lynn's outburst at Shelby's funeral

In M'Lynn's outburst at Shelby's funeral when she said "I want to know why Shelby's life is over," I would have to say, "Shelby had no choice."

She was a spoiled brat.

I know how hard Shelby's death was on M'Lynn but Jackson and Jack Jr. are her family too.

reply

& so is her husband. She treated him like utter shit in that movie start to finish. Why? Why did the production deem that it would be that way?

reply

and so are her 2 sons, Tommy and Jonathan.

I recall what Frank Hamer said after putting Bonnie Parker down::: "I hate to bust the cap on a woman, especially
when she was sitting down, however if it wouldn't have been her, it would have been us".

I'm just sayin'.

Here is what I imagine that Shelby's last words to her son, Jack were when she died;
Shelby: Jack, sweetheart, this is for you and I hope that you never have to hear this. But just in case, I want you to have something from me other than the life that I gave you and I want you to know that your father, grandparents, Uncle Tommy and Uncle Jonathan and I wanted you so much and you were more than we ever could have hoped for, our precious little boy and I am leaving you with wonderful people to love. We've been together from the moment you were conceived and we will always be together. So love Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Tommy and Uncle Jonathan as they love you and respect them and make them proud of you. I leave your future happiness in their hands and remember no matter where you are, I will always be with you and love you forever and ever and ever.
