Truvy says that Annelle can't be any older than 18.

Ummmmm, Annelle looks one heck a lot older than that! I would guess her at 28 at least!

Agree with you, and want to add, that I would watch this movie religiously in the early 90's and all I could think about when I saw her was 'that's JFK Jr's girlfriend?'

Agreed and thought the same of Shelby even though JR was 19/20 at the time. Girls and women just aged at a more accelerated rate back then. Now 18 year olds look 13 to me..
