I remember a lot of controversy at the time. Apparently, there was a real steamy scene between one of the sons and Stockard Channing> It had to be cut as did most of the film. Lee never got a good directing film again. Where is the footage? Release Lee's version!!!

shareThese days, so many movies are cut up when they get show on cable. I saw this movie in the theater in 1989 and on TV. The scene you are referring to is between Stockard Channing and the oldest son, Brian Mc Dermott (Tim Quill). They are in her house. The phone rings. She is talking on the phone. He gets on top of her and starts having sex with her. She continues to tlak on the phone while climaxing.
