I don't understand why they didn't give their money to charity
sharei figure it was because they were so disconnected from society....part of the reason for killing themselves may have had to do with the fact that there was nothing to care for/about anymore. they may also have seen money as valueless, something that adds nothing to life, so they saw no point in doing anything with it besides destroying it...kind of like a grand "screw society" move before removing themselves from their mundane surroundings
