I don't think this has been addressed on the board yet. I noticed at the end when Georg is staring into the fuzzy TV screen that his pants are pulled down to his knees, but still on. Any one else notice? What do you think it means?

And yes, I'm sure someone will say he had some 'fun' before dying, and that could be the case, but why else could it be? I'm probably looking too much into this haha. Really enjoyed the movie, though.

ha! I just watched this mindblowing movie yesterday. You are NOT ALONE in thinking that. what's up with his pants down to his knees huh??? But I'm not sure if he had 'fun' cos he must've felt terrible with all those drugs running through his body.

I never noticed that (also just watched the film yesterday). I doubt Haneke took artistic liberty to depict this by his own will, so the police probrably actually found him with his pants down.

he may have injected the syringe we see him filling in the previous scene in his leg. it's an easy spot to stick a needle for someone without experience.
