I would love to see an updated American version. The film is 20 years old and it's as meaningful today as it was then with movies with similar ideas such as Fight Club and American Beauty being as popular as they were.

A remake would probably be a disaster. I've seen Funny Games and I wish I hadn't.

If you thought Haneke remaking his own film was a disaster just wait until Ron Howard's remake of Cache comes out.

Is Cache really going to be remade? Haven't heard from this project for a while.

please tell me this isn't true, is it? please?

Apparently, Scorcese is working on a remake. But only Pro users can get any further information.

I know for a fact Haneke himself has said he`d like to see an American remake of the seventh continent. He said "It would be good as a musical, with maybe a few jokes thrown in to lighten the mood a bit"

I got it,I got it,I got it...I ain`t got it
