Scene about Yogi Berra in the doctor's lecture
Hello everyone.
I remember a scene from this movie that I saw when I was a kid but have never seen that scene again in any of the released versions of the movie since then. I just want to check with you all here to see if I'm not just imagining what I saw.
It's the scene where Richard Pryor's character is in the seminar pretending to be a doctor. Someone from the crowd asks him a question that is regarding "qualified yogis". And Pryor responds with: "If Yogi was so damned qualified, how come Steinbrenner fired him?"
Now... I saw this when I was a child and had no idea who Yogi Berra or George Steinbrenner were at the time so I couldn't have made up that scene with those names in that context. Does anyone remember this scene? I'd love to see it again. Thanks!
