Here is a thought about a sequel to See No Evil Hear No Evil!

Ok Gene Wilder of course would be one of the main characters in the film. He would play the father in this where his son has inherited being deaf which would be one of the actors you mentioned. Then it could be like Chris Rock, Tommy Davidson, David Allen Greer, or any African American comedian would do to make it funny. Unfortunately Richard Pryor his character passed away and it winds up with Gene Wilder and the new young actors getting involved into a crime scene by mistake.

You would have both Gene Wilder and his son not understanding the detective and both saying at the same time a new hysterical line for us to laugh at. I am sure this could be done without ruining the original movie and tie into it as a sequel.

I just do not want to see this original get ruined by a remake that would be totally different you know. It would be a injustice to the original movie I feel. What do you all think?

You are saying it cannot be done because Richard Pryor passed away and it is too late now but I do believe that it can be done though. Look how long it took for the prequels to Star Wars before they came out. It is possible if tried I think.

That is cool that you have read some of my posts and that we have similar tastes in movies that we watch, I do not like remakes either because they do not make them the proper way. Just like right now I am arguing with this guy right now about The A-TEAM. Sure it has the same formula like the TV show but what they did was update it to current events which I never like at all. I think they should try to work around and create movie as close as possible as a TV show or another movie without altering it at all. Just being honest about it.

I was born in 1972 so when Starsky and Hutch came out I was just a kid at the time but I do remember it in reruns because at one time TNT use to show them before they switched to "More Drama TV shows." I even remember when TNT would show like Specer For Hire, CHiPS and other shows on that network.

Now I did enjoy and grew up watching The A-TEAM. A lot of my friends loved the show as well. I liked all of the characters including Face. He was the ladies man and could have any woman that he wanted. Which in ways I wanted to be like that as well when I became older.

I am glad that you agree with me about the altering of remakes. I do not know why people will pay to go see them when they are not anything like the original at all. I do not like that at all.

I grew up watching basic cable and I can remember only having like 13 channels as a kid growing up. LOL I remember all of those shows that you mentioned about and I loved watching them. PBS was ok but that was once in a while that I would watch it though. TNT and TBS showed CHiPS in reruns a lot. I do not believe USA Network ever showed that show on their network though.
