"See no evil, hear no evil" is IMMENSELY underrated by film critics. Usually I agree with them on most things but not with this move AT ALL I will even go as far as to say THEY ARE 100 PERCENT WRONG! All the reviews at the time made absolutely no sense. This film's scrip was overall, amazing. I think they just didn't understand it at the time because it was in fact far ahead of its time, which is why a cult following has been built around it. I loved every minute of this movie and so did many others, the critics must not have seen the same movie we've all seen.

FWIW, Ebert, for instance, does make a few valid points - that the story Pryor & Wilder are dropped into, is entirely uninspired & cliche. That none of the characters is particularly interesting. And that the film´s just too cute & inoffensive for its own sake, in large part because both of the protagonists are such nice guys.

i agree critics were wrong about it, but the movies far from perfect. its still a mostly good movie with some great laugh out loud moments.
