funny as hell

well, I just reviewed this movie for the first time in about ten years, and I have one serious question...is that the greatest set of wheels youve ever seen or what?? Man did I feel sorry for Wally for not being able to see those!! There, fine, ive done the chauvinistic thing, now....

I loved this movie, there wasnt a minute that didnt have me at least smiling, at most laughing my **** off!!

'Dont look at me! Watch the road!!!'
'ok,...if it makes you feel better!'

There was nothing in this movie I didnt find funny, and I LOVED the little side jokes. The house may truelly exsist, but I still love a glass house one a bed of stone...but mostly I loved the blind leading the blind bit right in the beginning of the movie. (how did he get out of that truck anyway? thought he'd wind up in Ohio or something!)

Is it me,...or did Spacey have a HUGE zit on his cheek? I doubt that was makup. The whole "Woody holdup" thing was absolutly hysterical...not like I blame him,...wow!

I realy don't understand the low rating.
I came across the title of the movie looking up something else and just that made me smile again. It always does.Big smile that is.
Read that it may be Prior and Wilder alone making this movie great, so what?
Though I think the jokes are great too.

Same here! Even if there wasn't something funny going on (which was very rare!) I was still laughing at the last funny thing. I bought my mum the Richard Pryor DVD box set for Christmas because she asked for it but I had no idea how funny he was! I am now re-watching it!

It could be a little offensive to some people but, in my opinion, most blind and deaf people (with a sense of humour) would just find it funny! How couldn't you?

I am deaf and I LOVE this movie!

Are you serious?
I am God damn serious!

One of the funniest movies in the 80's. I remember this movie quite fondly because of my last name. The part where Wally & Dave are trying to get away from the killers and Dave is stomping on the ground and Wally is yelling at him. The next hing you knwo they're face to face with Jane Seymour and Kevin Spacey holding them and Wally looks at Dave and says 'Guess who I saw today?' Dave responds 'Who' and Wally of course mouthes the words THE KILLERS! and Dave with a look of bewilderment on his face says 'The..The Kidders?' My mom laughed so hard the first time she seen that she almost pissed her pants, because that's our last name!!!

In the immortal words of Socrates....I DRANK WHAT???!!!

DARN YOU!!! DARN YOU ALL TO HECK!!!

Yes I have to agree with you on this ellie-girl182 that it was hysterical! You do not see a duo like this not since like Abbott and Costello, Laurel and Hardy, or Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis! Comedies like this I love to watch because they crack me up!

Just bought it on DVD. I remember seeing it at the theater and enjoying it. I
rank it number three among the four this great team did together and it was
really fun to watch.

Best part of the movie was when Wallie goes to the race track and follows Centipede with binoculars. I couldnt control myself.

The blind leading the blind makes me laugh out loud from just hearing about it.

I have loved this movie for years, it is absolutely hilarious. The scene in the police station was my favorite. Second favorite was when Wally stands up on the train and yells, "You mean I'm not white?! Does Dad know?"

Way underrated.

Just saw it again on TV & he says "Pasta!" It was so random, it was almost funnier than the original line.

I watched it over the weekend with my 14 year old nephew. Hadn't seen it in 10+ years. We couldn't stop laughing the whole way thru it! My favorite scene is definitely at the Police Station when the lady couldn't get Gene Wilder to hold still for his mug shot. The way she got more angry til she couldn't hold back and just storms out screaming *beep* Had me laughing my butt off!

I love this film. I watched it last night for the first time in probably ten years and I was laughing so much. Those two are so great together and it's sad how it turned out for them. At the end of the film, I got the distinct feeling that a sequel may have been hinted. The freeze-frame shot of them with the ice cream is such a nice ending but I wanted more!

I read Gene Wilder's autobiography and it was very touching. I recall he was a little upset with Richard Pryor but this will always be one of my all-time favorite comedies.

Was on tv again last week. Haven't seen it in AGES. Had me in stitches.

"I wanna shoot 'em!"

"Why can't I shoot 'em?!"

This is classic comedic gold. Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor made such a great pairing, and this showcases their comic chemistry to the hilt. I could quote this movie all day.

Another day, another destiny.

Classic movie making. Stupendously stupid, but it's movie wonderfully made for the time. Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor real gems in this movie.
