I'm Glad To See The Difference On This Board

I visited this board about 18 months ago and immediately left. The top 6 threads were devoted to trashing this film and about every other one after that followed suit. I'm not exaggerating in the least. The absurd but inevitable "worst movie ever" thread was on here TWICE.

Does this movie have flaws? Yes, of course it does. It's corny as a gorged crow and Brad Wesley is a cartoon villain. Does that keep people like me from loving it? NO.

The only thing about it I can't abide is the torture scene. Wade Garrett making that poor woman dance to country music is just plain sadistic.

If you see exactly what to do don't tell ME! I'm just a singer in a rock&roll band!

Truth and decency wins in the end.

It's like we had a staff meeting and they were all told to leave and try barber college.

Lot of people posting just to provoke a response - or perhaps it's just a few trashing every movie whether they've seen it or not. Eitherway all you can do is ignore them. But I agree about the movie, it's a mass of dated, sexist and predictable clichés but I still enjoy it.

That's what's so great about it and makes it a cult classic.

It's so over the top but yet acted so seriously, which is why everyone loves it.

It will always be the Ultimate Mullet Movie!
