Is there a new Phantom movie in the works?
I heard that Universal was planning one a long while back, but haven't heard anything since. Does anyone know?

Well theres the new one that just came out on January 21 based on Andrew Lloyd webbers musical Starring Emmy Rossum <as christine> and Gerald Butler <as the Phantom> and Patrick Wilson<as Roul> Minnie Driver<as la carlotta> It was all singing though so if its a horror moive you want it wont be that, but it was still a very good version of PotO.

They were gonna make a sequel to this perticular movie version of Phantom called, "The Phantom Of New York". With Robert Englund returning as Erik/The Phantom of course. I heard 2 different things about the sequel, first that it was shot but has never been released. And second, that it was just planned, but nothing ever came of it.
