Why is it rated R?
Does anyone know why this movie is rated R? Does it have any language or sexality?

the reason it has an R rating is because it has one nude scene,Language,alot of blood,and some skinning.......still got to admit its one of my most favorite adapt. of phantom.
And also, the Phantom's deformity is at it's absolute worst in this. Especially because of his lack of nose.

And you also see the skinned Joseph {Literally, he's still bleeding} in Carlotta's cloest, i had to cover my eyes during that scene. it was really Gory, if i didn't cover my eyes threw it, i might have been throwing up. THough, i bet the Texas Chainsaw Masacre is much more Gorier.
