Was this for the sequel, or was Englund's film supposed to have this title?

This was the planned sequel, and Englund was in fact under contract for two films, but that was canceled after the box office failure of the first film.
While the poster lists the film as "Now Shooting", it never went beyond the script stage, despite rumors over the years to the contrary.
