I think it was Bloody Disgusting a a couple months back maybe about Robert Englund saying something about a sequel to this version.
"The phantom lives in the subway with a son and he watches over a blind girl who sings like an angel and she eventually ends up in an opera house."
Something like that for a plot I remember reading.

Speaking of scripts, I have the one from The Phantom of the opera. It was a shame that a lot of it was either changed or cut out completely; Duke Sandefur is good! I got it from Script City.
