OCPD, short for Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder. It's characterized by rigid conformity to rules, perfectionism, and control to the point of satisfaction and exclusion of leisurely activities and friendships.

That seems to describe Nathan SO accurately...

I understand the idea of having Patty be smart, but I'm certain that Justin's antics are just a phase. It's obvious that there's no one with the "hero" or "villain" labels in this movie, but either way, I don't believe that Nathan counts for the latter. It's very good that he realizes what he's done in the final act.
