'that Tod' :)

Stupid "that Tod" guy. :) I love how Diane calls him "that" every time. That is a slice of life moment right there.

When she said "thank you Tod," that really was a special moment because she was NOT letting off of "That Tod." I almost thought they should have put "That Tod" on his racing helmet...

I love the great connection they had in the kitchen, after Tod has "the talk" with Gary. It always cracked me up when Tod had such deep thoughts about fatherhood, and how 'they'll let any butt-reaming a-hole be a father'; then he shakes his head, as if to clear it of such deep thoughts! The Zen of Tod!

It was a lovely moment because finally we get to see that Todd’s not really that bad a guy. Diane began to realise how she had been misjudging him and that at heart he wasn’t a bad guy. I suppose going on first impressions he could come across as bit spacey and you’d be like uh oh but once you got to know him you see that he had good heart. I think the best word to describe him was that he was a dreamer. Given the unstable family environment he came from its hard not to see why he wouldn’t want to dream of a better life and family. I think he began to see the Buckmans as the family he always wanted and you just know that he really liked Diane as well as Gary. You could see a real brotherly relationship developing between the two of them.
