Is the vibrator even an issue?!

Would a woman even care now-a-days that she was caught owning a vibrator?! Maybe in the 1980's having a vibrator was taboo, but in today's age? I don't think anyone would care. In fact, I think she would probably get a high-five.

It's different when your parents and your kids and your niece and nephews are present.

^Exactly, it's not that she had one (though I'm sure slightly more people were uptight prudes about it in the 80s), just the humiliation of it being discovered in front of her family. Yeah everybody does it lol, but that'd still be embarrassing.

The point was not at all that she owned a vibrator. The point was that it was dragged out in front of the entire family! I for one would be absolutely mortified if this happened to me in front of my father, mother, children, nieces, nephews, grandmother, and in-laws--especially my judgmental ass of a brother-in-law like Nathan. :-O

To top it off she is already in a depressed state and has clearly been abandoned for another woman and all that. Just adds to the humiliated feelings she may have and I highly doubt that the day and age has anything to do with the reaction. Even in 2015 99% of people would be embarrassed if this happened to them. :-(

Dick, I am VERY disappointed.

Yea, I don't think I would want hi-fives from my parents and siblings if my vibrator accidentally was pulled out. You wouldn't be embarrassed at all?

reply

Yes most everything is embarrassing around family no matter the day and age. But if you want to compare vibrators with your mom and exchange them then be my guest.
