Are Jason Gray-Stanford and Patrick O'Bryan the same person?

I just seen 976-EVIL tonight and Patrick O'Bryan who played Spike looked a whole lot like Jason Gray-Stanford who plays Lt. Randy Disher on the hit USA Network TV Series Monk. I've surfed websites and looked for pictures of Jason Grey-Stanford around 1987-1992. Jason has done some voice work around the time of Patrick's career. Patrick's career spanned from 1987-1992. Patrick's last movie was in 1992 (976-EVIL II). Do you think they look similar? Are Jason Gray-Stanford and Patrick O'Bryan the same person? Please let me know what you think.

Yes it is, if you click on Patrick O'Bryan link, his name is in parenthesis for certain roles. This means that it was just an alias, this is not uncommon if certain actors do not want their nam associated with a project. If he is a member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild), then maybe it is because he worked outside of the union and therefore used a different name.
