Rips running double axe handle finisher is nothing like Savage's elbow drop (see trivia)

Savage has done a ouble Axe Handle off the top rope, but it wasn't his finisher as described in the Trivia.

In the beggining, when he does the double axe hadle, they call it the double axe hammer.

It sure is, especially if you've rammed the steel ring post through the center of the mat and axe-handle your opponent off the upper deck so he lands right on top of it.

You are totally correct on that Randy Macho Man Savage used a double axe handle off of the top ropes. I miss a lot of these legendary wrestlers who are no longer in the business anymore. Those were the days with some good and interesting storylines.
