At the end, why did Brell....
...just start tearing up the equipment in that room he was in?
shareHe committed suicide, because he didn't want to breathe the same oxygen as Rip.
Plus he was stupid.

I always thought he was trying to get the equipment broken to get the show off the air before Rip won. Not a great movie but a guilty pleasure. Just watched it on netflix for the fir time in 20 years. Embarrassed to say I still loved it.
shareNo reason other than preventing Rip from actually killing Brell, which I doubt he would have done. Brell dying was way unnecessary and seemed out of place... but then again that is the way this movie was.
shareBrell is an impulsive bully and full of rage whenever he doesnt get his way. This is evident throughout the movie.
When things arent going to plan in the final match he is acting out like a spoilt brat who isnt getting his way. I dont think he had any real intention except for releasing his rage at that moment.
Finally receiving his comeuppance.
Yeah he was. It didn't mean he deserved to die.
shareHe was livid Zeus was losing. No big mystery. He hated Rip and was losing what little sanity he had left.
