shareI'd LOVE a sequel that takes place between Dream Child and Freddy's Dead, that maybe wraps up Alice's story... I believe that was the whole point in setting Freddy's Dead 10 years in the future to allow for further sequels.
sharei meant one that pretends freddys dead never happened an yes that was one of the ideas in case they wanted to do more sequels to use the time between the films but they did release a comic new line i mean that feels the gap in between the films an raps up the story from 1-5 its called nightmares on elm street its better then freddys dead an dream child but its not as good as dream warriors or dream master
shareAccording to the NOES timeline I read once... the comics, Freddy's Nightmares and SOME PPL say that Freddy vs Jason takes place between Dream Child and Freddy's Dead.
If it were ME making the timeline... I would set it like, 1.Dream Child, 2. The Comics, 3. Freddy vs Jason, and then 4. Freddy's Nightmares
That makes sense to me, b/c the idea of "forgetting Freddy and he can't harm you looks like how Dream Child could have ended, so maybe the detective meant they had 4 years of peace, 4 years being since Dream Child, Then that would have been a good lead into the comics b/c they pick up with Alice's story, and Jacob was about 8 THEN that would be a good set up for Freddy's Nightmares. I think Freddy's Nightmares could lead into Freddy's Dead pretty well, b/c there were a couple mentions about how Springwood was becoming a ghost town throughout the series.
So you're saying Freddy Krueger (the man, not nightmare demon) should take on Jason?

No but I would accept a sequel that ignores everything after 1991 and picks up from Freddy's Dead
