Who was the other kid in the family?

The reason i ask the question is this:

We know that Rusty is sleeping in Audrey's room due to the grandparents being over the house. Later in the movie we see them in bed together and then switches over to the grandparents sleeping in Rusty's room. It's weird because Rusty has bunk beds in there and the grandfather is sleeping on the top bunk while the grandmother is on the bottom bunk.

I find it strange that they would have bunk beds when there is only one child sleeping in that room...so who's the third kid lol

Maybe when they were kids Audrey and Rusty shared a room and had the bunk bed.

Juliette Lewis is only two years older than Johnny Galecki.

It seems in all the Vacation movies that the siblings are very close in age.

No third kid. I've known lots of families to have bunkbeds in a single child room. Before the days of the loft bed, if a little kid wanted to sleep up high, they had to have a bunk.

My sister had bunk beds in her room when we were younger. If she had a friend spend the night, they'd have their own bed that way. Plus, she could get on the top bunk and lay really flat and hide from our 5'1" mom. :)

I also had a bunk bed all to myself when I was a kid.

I mean, really, how many times will you look under Jabba's manboobs?
