What was the gentleman in red (Screamin' Jay) writing all night long?

just wondering :)

He was probably writing the screenplay for the rest of the movie.

It does kinda' seem like they made it up as they went along. -though I love it anyway.

I thought he was keeping his books. his ledger. numbers and money.

Probably writing birthday cards to whichever of his 55 known kids names he could remember ( though the figure is thought to be closer to 75).

Joe Strummer is terrific in this movie and could've been a contender on the acting front, given the breaks. His memory is safe with his songs and his principles, at any rate.

A good film, not a great.

I think the hotel might get a lot of use during the daytime for other, cough-cough, activities, like when we first see the hotel, there is a prostitute coming out of the entrance and the Japanese girl sez: "That place looks like fun!", or something to that effect.

They may have 20-30 people coming through those doors throughout the daytime, and exiting an hour later.
