Hi,
I just watched Mystery Train and was struck by the Steve Buscemi character getting shot by his supposed brother-in-law, "Elvis." His lines are exactly the lines he uses in Fargo when the kidnaped woman's father shoots him in the deserted parking lot while delivering the ransom money. That would be my take on a reference, but there may be others . . .
Cheers to you
you really should say "spoiler" when you're about to say something that one should not know until they watch the film...
The Durango 95 purred away real horrowshow. A nice warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts
YES EXACTLY! just what i was about to say, don't ruin it for people who havent watched the film yet!
shareAre actually serious? You have to be incredibly sad and pathetic to post a comment like that against someone who took the time to answer a film-related question. Why would you want to read message boards questions to a film you haven´t seen and do not anticipate film´s details being commented about in those debates. Why don´t find a different excuse to complaint about and leave the guy alone. Or even better: take time to watch the film and stop whining.

oh stop complaining you losers.
sharepeople forget, and you take a chance when you come to a message board to read messages to a movie you haven't seen.
shareI haven't seen this movie myself (although it's gonna be in Flix tomorrow, hopefully I'll catch it) but if you read the Trivia for Fargo, they talk about that, and beco is right. So basically, this one hasn't been ruined for me. Yes, it did when I read the Trivia, but that's my fault and I'm bothered. In cause people have a problem with this, I don't wanna hear.
But on second hand, you should write "spoiler" for those who haven't seen a particular film you're talking about to advoid incidents like this.

How did we get off the subject of "Mystery Train"?
shareIf you read the "Trivia" Page on Mystery Train, it mentions how the one line that Steve said was exactly the same thing he said on Fargo.
I didn't point out any spoilers!!! If I did, I would've mention the line.

"You fucking shot me". Iconic line.
