I'm not afraid of anything?

I was suddenly reminded of this movie when a sequence of events popped into my head that I believe came from this movie.

I seem to recall that when the lady is first becoming a werewolf, she has a dream about the male werewolf where first he appears and says something or other, and then she says, "I'm not afraid of anything." He replies, "Not even THIS?" And then becomes something truly hideous.

She wakes up screaming next to him and he says, "You're having a nightmare!" She says, "You mean I had a nightmare," and he responds, "No, I mean you're having a nightmare" and then becomes that hideous thing again, at which point she wakes up for real.

I write this because for the life of me I cannot remember exactly what the heck it is that he became. If anyone can help me with this, I'd surely appreciate it. If it was a totally different movie, feel free to toss that at me, too.

He became a werewolf. A crappy looking werewolf.

So then in this case, my mental interpretation of 'hideous' may have been due to really bad special effects makeup. Odd, for some reason I was under the impression that it was actually scary. Funny how memory works.

It actually wasn't a werewolf at all. There's some artist who makes portraits using vegetables. It looked kind of like that, only really really crappy. Wet, green, and noodley.
