I still haven't found the courage to rewatch this. Just looking photos alone makes me recoil in terror.

Same here. Saw the preview as a kid, and avoided it like the plague!

this is quite literally the scariest thing that I ever saw as a little kid. (and I watched the occasional proper scary movie at sleepovers....as you do)

Much of this was disturbing even for an adult. Feel sorry for anyone who saw it as a kid.
