Ok, as everyone knows, the ending is pretty emotional when Brian and Maurice say goodbye. After recently rewatching the movie after many years I came to the conclusion that Maurice and the other monsters would no longer exist without Boy. Obviously I can't say for sure what the writers were trying to say there but that is what I am thinking now. Anyone else agree?
shareI don't think that's what they were trying to say. I just think Brian couldn't go down to the monster world anymore because if he did, he would turn into a monster... Not sure, that's just my thoery though.
