Why is the film rated R? Basically, how much swearing and nudity (if any) is in the film? No spoilers please!
shareThere's tons of nudity they have a blood orgy in which they are swearing constantly throughout and the main character dies close to the end before the alien sinks the ship and kills everyone but daniel stern.

I watched the movie last night, good flick.
The comment the guy gave you is a joke I guess. You don't see any naked Lady but just 2 Ladies with underwear for a medical check-up and one in the shower with her underwear. They both look very fine, especially the brunette to me. There are some gore scenes indeed, that's why it's rated R I believe.

Its not a hard R. A little bit of cussing, maybe 3 uses of f--k, a few brief shots of some porn mags carried by one of teh crewmembers, and as stated 3 shots of women in lingerie, there are some fairly gross monster transformation scenes, and gore, but overall not too bad.
Son, that's not a rainbow, that's just the light reflecting of some baboon's waxed ass.
