Shower scene

Who was in the shower and got undressed in the shower and what is she wearing and wouldn't it be uncomfortable?

reply

I have no idea what scene you are talking about. "Bowman" (Lisa Eilbacher) commits suicide in the shower by slashing her wrists when she realizes she is infected. But she was naked (no complaints).

reply

The scene 47 minutes into the film.

reply

it wasnt bowman it was the williams character

reply

I'm watching it right now and it was Bowman.

reply

It was definitely Bowman (the redhead) who kills herself. Williams is the astronaut in training.

reply

this was indeed williams, she wore udnerwear, and I hope it'd be uncomfortable enough for her to get rid of it

That whole scene kind of comes out of nowhere and doesn't really tie in with the rest of the film. probably a hint at some filmed but deleted scene or soemthing

reply

All I'm saying is that the underwear would be uncomfortable as it would itch and ride up as it dried and not to mention the risk of infection depending on what is in the water.

reply

shes trying to disinfect herself. shes panicking. Not thinking, thus not taking off her underwear.

reply

Or maybe amanda pays just didn't feel like getting naked?

there's a similarly ridiculous scene in "The Brave One".

Just saw this on Netflix for the first time in like 20 years--

I think the Amanda Pays undie scenes were just for the sake of a little T&A.

There's an earlier scene in her bra and panties when she is examined by the Doc as well.

However, it's at the very end where you're left shaking your head.

She's in the bay, getting reading to get in to her dive suit. She elects to take off her skin tight sweat pants.

Now through the whole movie and also with the male characters during that same scene no one strips down to get in to a suit. Only Amanda at the very end.

Hey, I'm not complaining but what gets me is that they don't do anything with it. OK. You get the pretty chick to strip down. Then don't give us a a view. So why bother?
