Alien is a classic. There just kinda remade it but instead of in spaceship it under water...

Setting at the end about the be destroyed with countdown: Alien
Which they (inc at least one sexy woman in underwear) escape: Alien

the only thing this film and alien have in common is goldsmith's great score for each film

It's not ispired so much by Alien by but The Thing!
