It wouldn't have played as well as a joke if Rog didn't find out in front of everyone else in the room, also after Riggs told everyone in the precinct to watch it.

Maybe she and Trish knew, but didn't tell Roger. That's the way I've always looked at it.

Who cares? That scene is one of the funniest in the entire series.

I can excuse that oversight because the laugh it generated was huge lol.

She probably said "I'm not supposed to talk about it," or "You'll see, it's a surprise!" Maybe they should have referenced that before the commercial aired, still not a big deal.
