Losers at the track

This movie nails it. Too many people who want to lose their cash. Nothing against gambling in general, just the people who do it a lot tend to suck at life.

That makes it all the better for those of us who win. At a casino, you're up against the house, but at the track, your competition is your fellow patron.

But, in their defense, the public makes the right horse the favorite about 33% of the time. Year in, year out, all tracks, this figure is uniform. The thing is to take advantage of the 2/3 of the time that they are wrong.
