I can accept the notion that not everyone finds it to be a "10", but really?

IMDB's weighting system is an ephing joke.

The median is 8, meaning half -- about 1500 people -- gave it an 8,9, or 10. How does it rate only a freaking 6.4, then?

That's just ridiculous.

Everyone doesn't have to rate it as a 10, but I sure do...One of my absolute favorites of all time...

This rating system they have here isn't really that reliable...

It's useless to argue about taste and even more useless to litigate it.
