in the goofs it says that mr darnel returns to work and says "you should not have fired me in the first place" , but in joes office he suspends mr darnel indefinatley. To me thats the same as being fired and is not a goof.

No, it's not the same. Being fired indefinitely means it was for an undetermined period, meaning he could evenuantly get reinstated.
