DVD is available from Amazon UK

I bought a copy from Amazon in the UK mainly because of the special features, alot of which I haven't accessed yet. The transfer was a bit dissapointing. I'm almost thinking that my laserdisc copy looked better. There's also a 90 minute doc on Selby that kind of angered me. A lot of footage of him reciting his works in front of a live audience. I've had enough of that stuff from William Burroughs only Burroughs does it better. Selby comes off as a big cry baby most of the time. Good informative commentary by director and script writer. Film was shot in Brooklyn and Munich. Tralala was supposed to be played by Patricia Arquette, but she became pregnant and Jason Leigh got the part. Alexis Arquette who accompanied his sister to the audition won the part of Georgette by chance. Alexis is now a woman according to the commentary. At the rate of exchange from pounds to US dollars, it cost me around 10 bucks plus shipping and handling. 'Bye.
