Just re-watched this via Netflix and have to say the final contents of the briefcase kill me every time. Phonebooks and travel brochures are bad enough, but putting a can of Spam in there too made it seem almost like a personal insult from Val's character. Cracks me up.

True dat! She struck me as a femme fatale who may not have been too bright, but still nearly impossible to resist. I was actually impressed that Jack was able to resist her when she went into vulnerable hysterics in front of the highway patrol, at least long enough to get her whole story. I might not have held out so long.
