Karate Kid III is by far the busiest Karate Kid board on this site & seems to be the go to spot for general Karate Kid discussion. Anyone know why that is?

Btw, nobody ever claimed Daniel was the sharpest tool in the box.
The referee should have stopped the fight and penalized Daniel for performing illegal Kata. It was completely out of place in a kumite tournament.

As for illegal kata, this has already been discussed many times by people (including yourself) who do not know the rules so let me remind you of something...you are wrong!
That dang tournament had problems from the get-go. If they couldn't get their shyt together enough to disqualify Daniel's crane kick, they probably aren't going to disqualify Barnes' "win point, lose point" strategy... at least not until its all over and they have time to reflect on how stupid they all were.
Then when they finally got to that point they said, fuggit, no more Cobra Kai period, and just banned the whole dojo.
Ok. To understand you have to go back a few years.
There is an online gang who call themselves the Kai. They watch the movies and come online to go on about how (in their opinion) Miyagi and Daniel are the bad guys, whilst excusing everything the Cobra Kai do.
They posted on all three movie boards but used to frequent the original board the most at first. This is where they used to big up the movies 'bad' guys the Cobra Kai. They used to say that afterwards they got Daniel back at school. Part two not only shows us that this didn't happen but also their hero Kreese got his comeuppance.
For a short while they championed the bad guys from part 2 (Chozen and Sato) but we also see that in the end Miyagi and Daniel are victorious.
Part 3 though sees Daniel (who has recently won a fight to the death) getting roughed up again by the Kai. It ends with Daniel winning a semi contact match in sudden death where he has already taken a beating.
So for these guys it feels like a victory and that there is no way Barnes isn't going to get Daniel in the car lot or that Terry Silver is going to sort out Miyagi. Also, lets not forget the umpteen Cobra Kai dojos that he is opening around the Valley.
Hence the online Kai (only really two of them posting these days) visit this site more than the others.

shareIt was a fun board back when it was on IMDB. Then it turned into these guys fighting each other. I don't know if it was real, or play, or what, but it got old fast and I hit the ignore button on many of them (even though to be fair we never really interacted).
The board for this movie was cool for a while around 2009 when posters pointed out goofy things from the movie and speculated on the characters, but these guys and their childish feuds really helped to ruin it all.
